PURPOSE:To enable excellent distinctive printing even with a machine plate which has a small pattern by deleting area rates by divided blade width which are less than a specific value and correcting the maximum value of area rate data as an effective value instead. CONSTITUTION:A read means (a) divides the divided blade width to read area rate data on the pattern at pitch intervals. An arithmetic means (b) divides the blade width by a specific pitch to find the quantity of area rate data within the divided blade width. An arithmetic means (c) adds area rate data by as many as the quantity obtained by the arithmetic means (c), divides the sum by the quantity of the area rate data to calculate the area rate of each divided blade, and also delete area rates which are less than the specific quantity (e.g. <=5%). A correcting means (d) corrects the maximum value of area rate data as the effective value instead of the deleted area rates and converts the value into the number of perforations of punch holes or a barrel screw adjustment quantity to make an ink adjustment, thereby performing the printing operation. |
