PURPOSE:To lower fixing temperature and to reduce energy consumption by incorporating a specified linear polyester resin, a specified nonlinear polyester resin, a specified organic metal compound, and a specified graft-modified polyolefin releasing agent low in melting point. CONSTITUTION:The binder resin of this toner contains the linear polyester resin having an acid value of <= 5 mg KOH/g, the nonlinear polyester resin having an acid value of 5 - 60 mg KOH/g, the divalent or higher organic metal compound in an amount of 0.2 - 10 wt.% of the binder resin, and the releasing agent of the graft-modified polyethylene low in melting point having a number average molecular weight Mn of <= 1.0X10<3>, a weight average molecular weight Mw of <= 2.5X10<3>, a Mw/Mn of <= 3.0, and a melting point of 60 - 120 deg.C, thus permitting the obtained toner to be heat fixed to a recording material with a low consumption of electric power at low temperature without causing offset. |
