PURPOSE:To position each light spot just above a correspondent track by aligning the light spots while separating from the same prescribed number of tracks in a direction orthogonal to the track of an optical recording medium. CONSTITUTION:Light spots 40-42 are aligned so as to be orthogonal to the lengthwise direction of tracks T1-T19 and positioned with 6 tracks, for example, between. Since the light spots are aligned so as to be orthogonal to the tracks T1-T19, the intervals of the light spots 40-42 are made the multiple of a track pitch and this is regardless of a curvature radius. Therefore, the light spots 40-42 are prevented from being slightly deviated from the tracks T1-T19 by the difference of the curvature radius. Further, since the light spots are positioned while separating them by 6 tracks, a laser beam emitting position interval can be enlarged and a laser semiconductor array can be easily produced. |
