<p>PURPOSE:To prevent an information recording medium from being robbed by providing a locking system with a locking means for setting up the information recording medium to be inserted into a main body device in the locked state to the main body device. CONSTITUTION:When the lug part 22 of the locking mechanism 11 stored in the main body device is stored in the notched part 8 of the card 2, the card 2 is locked to the main body device 1. Then a CPU 10 reads out inherent information stored in the card 2 and stores the read contents in a main memory 12. When an external means such as an operator inputs collating information through a keyboard 4, the CPU 10 reads out the inherent number from the main memory 12, compares the inputted collating number with the stored inherent number, and when both numbers coincide with each other, transmits an unlocking signal to the locking mechanism 11. Consequently, the information recording medium 2 can be prevented from being unexpectedly robbed.</p> |
