The video camera for doors and entrance communicating sets can be accommodated in flush or designed sockets or boxes and has a covering cap (20) with an opening (21) and a unit for illuminating the flield or view of the camera. In the socket or box arrangement a module housing accepts the video camera covered by the cap when closed. The cap is made with a circular recess (22) round the central opening. This recess has a p.c.b. into which a number of bulbs is fixed. The recess has its own covering ring made of transparent or translucent plastics material with a roughened surface. USE/ADVANTAGE - Field of vire of camera effectively illuminated , with easy acess to the bulbs.
