<p>PURPOSE:To accurately position a transfer sheet and to send it toward a trans ferring part by providing a stopper driving mechanisms which retract a stopper up to a position where the stopper does not abut on the leading edge of the transfere sheet and turns on a clutch, after the transfer sheet is inserted into a resist roller and its leading edge abuts on the stopper. CONSTITUTION:The stopper 19 is operated so as to abut on the leading edge of the transfer sheet by the stopper driving mechanisms 20 - 22 before a carried transfer sheet 18 comes to the nip position of the resist roller 18. Therefore, even if the transfer sheet 18 is carried at high speed, its leading edge is accurately positioned by the stopper 19. Then, the stopper 19 is released, moreover, the clutch of the resist roller 8 is turned on, and the transfer sheet 18 is sent toward the transfer part. Thus, the leading edge of the transfer sheet 18 is accurately positioned, and then, is sent toward the transfer part 14 by the resist roller 8.</p> |
