The bicycle, esp. a training or keep-fit bicycle has pedals attached to cranks fastened to a chainwheel which drives a wheel through a sprocket fitted with a freewheel. The bicycle has device to hinder the functioning of the free-wheel so that the bicycle wheel cannot continue to rotate when the pedals are not being driven. A magnet (17) fitted in the bicycle wheel hub locks the free wheel (14) so that the wheel only rotates when the pedals are being operated. USE - Training bicycle with freewheel which may be locked out of action.
