The egg-cup is for raw and soft-boiled eggs (3), having two portions fitting one inside the other. The cup-shaped base portion (1) positions the eggs and incorporates a supporting foot (1). The top one (2) has a guide slot (2e) for a knife to take the egg top off. There is a reinforcing ridge (4) on the top portion, and which is interrupted at the slot.
