<p>PURPOSE: To shorten the delivery time by picking up a warehousing cassette by a goods handling device when a delivery cassette is transferred to a truck and moved in the goods handling direction at only one contact in a storage rack between the traveling movement of a conveyor truck and the operation of a rack handling device, in the storage rack for rod-like materials. CONSTITUTION: A cassette B delivered in the direction of an arrow 55 by a conveyor truck 25 positioned in the height of a goods handling site 40 and storing materials is moved to a cassette space 4 of the goods handling site 40 by rollers 30, 40. This space 4 is previously formed by moving an empty cassette A in the space 4 to a space 5. Next, the conveyor truck 25 is moved leftward by the width of the cassette, and the empty cassette in the space 5 in the goods handling site 40 is received onto a truck 25 by the rollers 42, 30. During work of the cassette B, the truck 25 is moved to the position of a next cassette and interchanges the empty cassette. By this structure, the delivery time can be shortened.</p> |
