The invention relates to a delivery apparatus for sawn goods, which operates piece-by-piece. The delivery apparatus delivers the boards of various size, which are advanced in a single-layer, to a driving conveyor, at a distance apart determined by the drivers. The delivery apparatus comprises a conveyor 1, which conveys the set of boards, at least two delivery discs and a conveyor 5 provided with drivers 6. A drawback with such delivery apparatus has been that the board whose turn it is to be delivered has to be halted in front of the delivery device whilst the delivery disc moves the board which is next in line for delivery to the driving conveyor. This halt has been executed with stationary stoppers in front of the delivery point, over which stoppers the board has to be lifted, or such that the stoppers are moved away from their position in front of the board during the moment of delivery. According to this invention, the halt is effected automatically as a part of the delivery operation. That edge of the delivery element 3 which executes the piece- by-piece delivery and which, following delivery, is facing the set of boards extends above the upper plane of the conveyor 1 which transports the set of boards and thus acts as a stopper for the set. Whenever a driver 6 in the driving conveyor 5 gives an impetus to the delivery disc to rotate forwards, the upright edge of the delivery element frees the board which is next in line and the following delivery element approaches the board to be delivered and lifts it in the tangential direction by its arched transfer edge and transfers it to the discharge ramp 84, whence it drops down on to the driving conveyor. Using the delivery element according to the invention, boards of various size from the same set can be fed out without adjustment to the machine setting, which has not hitherto been possible. <IMAGE> |
