PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for conventionally used magnetic/IC cards and bankbooks with magnetic stripes and to reduce the cost of transactions by inputting a previously registered customer registration number from an input means at the time of executing automatic transaction. CONSTITUTION: In an automated apparatus 1, a customer selects a transaction on a customer guide screen 5a and inputs a previously registered customer registration number. Then the customer inputs a password and inputs the amount of the transaction through a customer operation keys 6. A CPU 14 in the apparatus 1 transmits these transaction data to a center. At the time of receiving the transaction data from the apparatus 1, a CPU in the center accesses a magnetic disk file based upon the customer registration number included in the received data. he CPU of the center checks whether abnormality exists in the customer registration number, the password, or its account or not, and when there is no abnormality, an output 'transaction available' is outputted to the CPU 14 of the apparatus 1. At the time of receiving the 'transaction available' from the CPU of the center, the CPU 14 of the apparatus 1 allows the apparatus 1 to execute transaction operation. |
