PURPOSE:To improve characteristics by constituting a surface of a hexagonal ferrite fine powder by spinel ferrite. CONSTITUTION:A surface of a hexagonal ferrite fine powder of average diameter of 0.02 to 0.2mum which is expressed in a formula I is constituted by spinel ferrite; thereby, saturation magnetization is improved and temperature dependency of coercive force is improved. In the formula, A is at least one kind of element which is selected from Ba, Sr, Pb, Ca and M is at least one kind of element which is selected from Nb, Sb, Ta; 0<w<0.18, 0<x<0.1, 0<y<0.12, 0<z<0.09, 0<n<6.2;. |
