<p>PURPOSE:To attain packet multiple address communication to plural optional destinations by using a multiple address communication identifying number provided to an internal transfer bus packet to control the destination of a packet for multiple address communication on an internal transfer bus. CONSTITUTION:An incoming subscribed line packet 317 being a multiple address communication packet sent from an incoming subscriber line terminal equipment 301 is converted into an internal transfer packet 318 by a packet transmitter 310 and sent onto an internal transfer bus 313. A destination packet receiver address 103 goes to logical '0' and a multiple address communication identification number 104 goes to '100'. When the multiple address communication identifying number of the internal transfer bus packet 318 is coincident with one of the multiple address communication identification numbers set in advance in an address filter in packet receivers 314-316, the number is converted into an outgoing virtual circuit number corresponding to the multiple address communication identifying number of the internal transfer bus packet and transferred to a subscriber line packet constitution circuit.</p> |
