<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the distortion of facings by binding stacked friction materials with a hard plate identical in shape thereto and having a flat and smooth contact surface therewith placed into close contact therewith on one or both sides of th stacked friction materials. CONSTITUTION:Stacked facings 1 are bound tightly with bands 3 with hard plates 2 identical in shape to the facing and having a flat and smooth contact surface therewith placed into close contact therewith to exert the tightening force unevenly on the entire surface of each facing in order to prevent the occurrence of the distortion due to the unbalanced tightening force. Since the facings are orderly arranged by the flat and smooth surface of the hard plates 2 upon binding, the occurrence of the distortion caused by the inner stress of the facing itself resulting from changes in humidity and temperature can be controlled.</p> |
