PURPOSE: To realize a highly reliable detection of abnormality by comparing a target value with the characteristic amount corresponding to statistic dispersion of the maximum value of a signal parameter after finding it when detecting a series of abnormality out of depolarization signals of the heart. CONSTITUTION: An input signals IS reaches a detection circuit 2 to compare it with the threshold specified in relation to a signal parameter. The signals further reaches a peak gauge 3 to respond to the signal parameter identical with the detection circuit, being activated there so as to measure the maximum value of a signal parameter every time such a event occurs, and then reaches a memory 5 through a change-over switch 4. Maximum value or a difference stored in the memory 5 finds a characteristic amount corresponding to either statistic dispersion of the maximum measured value or calculated difference each time a new event occurs. They are sent to a calculation circuit 7. Signals corresponding to the calculated systematic characteristic amount are delivered to a comparator 8 to compare them to the target value of the corresponding signal DVA, which detects a series of abnormality based on a number of normal events among electric signals. |
