<p>PURPOSE:To accurately diagnose the plant state by comparing plant state data with a value whose threshold a margin is allowed for to infer the abnormality. CONSTITUTION:An input processing part 3 samples the detection signal of a detector 2 to gather plant data and stores it in a plant data base 4. An inference processing part 6 compares plant data with the threshold based on the abnormality discriminating knowledge in a knowledge base 5 at each time of fetching plant data from the processing part 3; and if plant data exceeds the threshold, the abnormality is discriminated. The mode of excess over the threshold is discriminated in accordance with time series plant data from the past to the present stored in the base 4, and plant data is compared with the corrected threshold. If the mode of excess over the threshold is caused by an essential abnormality and plant data exceeds the corrected threshold, the occurrence of abnormality in the plant is decided. The cause of abnormality is inferred based on cause deciding knowledge in a base 5, and a countermeasure against the abnormality is displayed on a display device 8.</p> |
