DEVICE FOR HAND-OPERATED ADJUSTMENT OF RAIL VEHICLE'S BRAKE SHOES' DISTANCE

The device concerns a constructional design of track vehicles, mainly of driving track vehicles. Its purpose is to improve accessibility of the device for manual adjustment of distance of brake shoes of track vehicles, to reduce laboriousness connected with this procedure, and to reduce the dimensions of a space necessary for installation of such device. The above mentioned purpose is achieved by a constructional design of a coupling rod of brake cross-bars or translation bars using nuts with a pulling rod and a screw with a pulling rod, positioned between the brake cross-bars or the translation bars and connected with pulling rods. One of the pulling rods passes through the brake cross-bar or the translation bar with clearance and can be rotated by means of an adapter positioned in close proximity of the brake cross-bar or the translation bar. The force from the pulling rod is transferred by the adapter on the brake cross-bar or translation bar. The second pulling rod is connected with the second brake cross-bar or the translation bar so that it does not allow rotation.<IMAGE>
