PURPOSE:To output the dot image information of set doe size even if a printing means to execute optional picture element density printing is connected by outputting printing information to the printing means while editing it into prescribed picture output data based on the inputted picture element density information. CONSTITUTION:When the picture element density information of the printing means 112 to be connected is inputted from an input means 107, an editing means 108a outputs the printing information to the printing means 112 while editing it into the prescribed output data subordinated to the printing means 112 based on the inputted picture element density information. Then, the dot image of the designated dot size is outputted from the printing means 112 capable of outputting optional picture element density. Thus, the picture data of the picture element density optimum for the printing device 112 of the optional picture element density can be outputted. |
