<p>PURPOSE: To rapidly and certainly form a loop in a reproducible manner by forming a welding point where at least two different parts of a tape are arranged between first and second welding members. CONSTITUTION: A fixed member (jaw) 2 and a movable jaw member (jaw) 4 are provided and narrow tape guide grooves 6, 8 are respectively provided to the peripheries of the jaws 2, 4. A tape 24 passes through the groove 11 of a pressure element 16 and traverses the space between respective leading end parts acting as a first electrode 12 and second electrodes 13a', 13b" and the free end 27 thereof is placed in the groove 6 of the upper jaw 2 to move through the groove 6 and enters the groove 8 of the lower jaw 4 and, finally, the free end 27 traverses the free space between the leading ends 13a, 13b of the grasping surface and surfaces 15a, 15b to be positioned at the space between the electrode 12 and the electrodes 13a', 13b". The electrode 12 is moved toward the tape 24 by a spring and voltage of certain magnitude and frequency is generated between the electrodes 12 and the electrodes 13a', 13b" by a microwave generator over a time collectively welding the tape part by microwave energy.</p> |
