PURPOSE:To insert an ultrasonic probe into a body cavity accompanied by a finger so as to enable a part in fingertip direction to be diagnosed by preparing a fingertip case, wherein an ultrasonic probe is housed, and a sack equipped with that fingertip case at its tip position. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic probe 1 is fixed in a case so that its transducing face is directed toward the center of the hemisphere, and a reflection inhibitor 6 such as water and ultrasonic gel is filled in this case. This fingertip case 2 containing the ultrasonic probe 1 is put in the tip of a finger sack 3 or fixed to a fingertip-opened finger sack 3. The aforementioned ultrasonic probe inside a body cavity is connected with a main body of ultrasonic diagnostic instrument with a connection wire 7 and inserted into the body cavity after the finger sack 3 is put on a finger. By using this method, ultrasonic pulses are transmitted in the fingertip direction and it is possible to diagnose a part in this direction by receiving the pulses and carrying out an image processing. |
