There is disclosed a subscriber line interface circuit in a packet switched network capable of reducing S/N ratio by analog/digital conversion of an input signal with single arrangement. Voice signals are transmitted and received as analog singnals between line terminal circuits (341 to 34m) and voice signal processing circuits (351 to 35m) each constituting the subscriber circuit. In the voice signal processing circuits (351 to 35m), packet assembly and disassemble, voice signal processing, line terminal circuit control are carried out in synchronism with the packet communication network.
