<p>A capacitive proximity detector comprises two mutually electrically insulated electrodes, at least one of which is flat, connected to a signal generator. The input of an amplifier is connected to one of the electrodes. In order to reduce the basic capacity of the detector, the output of the amplifier (4) is connected to an intermediate electrode (2) arranged between, and insulated from, the electrodes (1, 3), which are permanently connected to the generator (5).</p> |
