<p>PURPOSE:To avoid a drop in a surge-resistant amount by a method wherein a non-connection internal electrode which is not connected to external electrodes formed on both end-faces of a laminated body is inserted and arranged between internal electrodes. CONSTITUTION:Since a non-connection internal electrode 6 is laid between internal electrodes 3, 3, a thickness of each ceramic sheet 2a is 50mum even when a thickness of e.g. a ceramic layer 2 is 100mum. Thereby, an electric line of force between the internal electrodes 3, 3 can be distributed uniformly and it is possible to avoid electrodes from being destroyed when a surge is applied. As a result, it is possible to obtain a laminate-type varistor 1 whose varistor voltage is high, whose surge-resistance amount is large and whose protective function is excellent.</p> |
