PURPOSE:To check an editing end point rapidly and securely by execising microprocess control over the movement of a recording medium after editing on the basis of a program which corresponds to the operation of a return jump button. CONSTITUTION:When a review button is operated, a VTR tape 80R after being edited is run reversely at a high speed through the microprocessor of an editing controller which operates according to the count value, etc., of a reproduction clock and after it passes by an editing start point, normal reproduction is carried out. When a return/jump button is operated by display, etc., after it is confirmed that the tape passes by the editing start point, a corresponding process program is selected to run the tape 80R at a high speed up to a prescribed point before the editing end point. After the reproduction of the tape 80R is performed up to a prescribed point after the editing end point, the tape runs reversely and stops at the editing end point. Under this jump process control, the editing end point during review operation is checked rapidly and securely. |
