PURPOSE:To improve starting, acceleration properties and steering stability by installing a hydraulic clutch which generates differential limit torque between the input and output factors of a differential device in a final decelerating device, in the Trans-axle in which the transmission gear device and the final decelerating device of a two-wheel drive vehicle are incorporated integratedly. CONSTITUTION:In a control device in which a manual transmission 20 is connected to the crankshaft 11 of an engine 10 through a flywheel 12 and a clutch 13 and a front differential device 30 is disposed between the clutch 13 and the manual transmission 20, the front differential device 30 is provided with a differential means 35 installed on a ring gear 32 engaging with the drive pinion 31 of an output shaft 15. A hydraulic clutch 40 for differential limit control is installed coaxially next to the differential means 35 of the differential device 30. The hydraulic clutch 40 is operated and controlled according to a road surface condition and running conditions through a hydraulic control device 52 by the discharged oil of an oil pump 51 driven by a motor 50 which is installed next to the clutch 40.
