PURPOSE:To reduce the maximum field intensity of the winding starting connecting section of secondary winding by each arranging a high dielectric constant layer while being contacted with the secondary winding connecting section side and a low dielectric constant layer at the primary winding side and insulating a section between both winding by two layers having different dielectric constants. CONSTITUTION:The primary winding 2 and the secondary winding 3, which is divided into two sections and wound, are disposed around a laminated core 1, and the winding starting sections of the two secondary winding 3 are mutually connected by the connecting section 4 of an inside adjacent section and one secondary winding is formed. The secondary winding 3 is mounted at some interval to the primary winding 2, the high dielectric constant layer 5 such as an epoxy ester glass layer is set up while being contacted with the secondary winding connectng section 4, and a case 7 made of resin is filled with resin having a low dielectric constant such as epoxy resin. Accordingly, the unevenness of field distribution between the connecting section 4, in which high voltage is induced when operating the ignition coil, and the primary winding 2 can be equalized as much as possible, and the maximum field intensity can be reduced. |
