A filter bag of elongated oval cross-section and with a corresp. internal support structure is held in an aperture in the partition sepg. an upper chamber for air cleaned by the filter from the lower chamber for dustry air by the pressure of flanges against the beaded upper rim of the tray. This pressure is applied by a spring engaging an axial shaft extending into the bag, and derivs. from a plate engaging the upper shaft end and held down by the undersides of T-flanges welded to the partition on the clean air side. ADVANTAGE - Entire sealing system is effectively centered for installation and can be withdrawn as a single unit complete with bag, support structure and spreader.
