PURPOSE:To easily attach and detach an inner electrode and an electrolytic diaphragm member by holding the electrode and the diaphragm member, providing a water discharge port and a water supply port respectively to the electrode and member and providing a through hole having a cap to either the upper or lower flange member. CONSTITUTION:A columnar inner electrode 3 is concentrically arranged in a cylindrical outer electrode 2, and both electrodes are supported and fixed by the upper and lower flange members 9 and 7 through a tension rod 10. The space between both electrodes 2 and 3 is separated by the electrolytic diaphragm member 4 into a couple of electrode chambers 5a and 5b, and raw water is supplied from the water supply ports 6a and 6b provided to the lower flange member 7. A current is applied between both electrodes 2 and 3 to electrolyze the raw water, and the obtained ionized water is discharged from the ionized water discharge ports 8a and 8b provided to the upper flange member 9. A through hole 11 to be sealed by the cap 92 is furnished to the upper flange member 9 in the electrolytic unit 1. The diaphragm member 4 and the inner electrode 3 can be inserted or extracted through the through hole 11, and maintenance is facilitated. |
