PURPOSE:To detect and correct deviation readily and to ensure the guidance of a course by detecting the deviation between a preset course and an operated running locus, and issuing alarm when the deviation exceeds the specified value. CONSTITUTION:A specified map is display on a TV screen 10. The coordinates of a preset course are inputted with a touch panel switch 11, and stored in a preset course memory 23 in a signal processing device 16. Thereafter, the present position of a vehicle is inputted with the switch 11. A running locus is operated in a running-locus operating circuit 20 based on the position data from a locator 7 and vehicle speed data in accordance with the running of the vehicle. The result is stored in a running locus memory 21. In a comparing device 24, the running locus which is read out with a display driver 22 is compared with the data in the preset course memory 23. When the deviation exceeds the specified value, an alarm is issued from a speaker 15. Therefore, the deviation is readily detected and corrected, and the vehicle is guided on the course positively. |
