<p>PURPOSE:To enhance a responsive property to generate a photoelectric current when a light spot is actually applied by a method wherein a periphery of a light-spot irradiation position is irradiated in advance with very small bias light. CONSTITUTION:When an optional potentiometer composed of a triode element which is constituted of a resistance film 1, a photoconductive film 13 and electrode films 15 (15A, 15B) is operated, a width of a light spot A is made larger than that required essentially. That is to say, when an essentially required spot width is DELTAS, a spot width by this invention is set to kDELTAS. It is sufficient when k>1; however, it is preferable that k=3 to 5. Thereby, both sides of an essential light-spot irradiation point is irradiated with bias light whose width is always (kDELTAS-DELTAS)/2. An irradiation position is subjected to the bias light before it is irradiated with an essential light spot; both a rise responsive property and a fall responsive property are enhanced.</p> |
