A device for metering refrigerant for cooling systems has a tank (1) which is suspended from a weight measurement cell (2) of an electronic balance and is connected to a gas inlet line (20) and a gas outlet line (30). The inlet and the outlet line have isolating valves (shut-off valves) (21, 31) which can be actuated automatically by a programmable digital display (3) connected to the weight measurement cell (2) of the tank suspension and by a programmable controller (4). After the tank (1) has been filled, periodically the inlet valve (21) is closed and the outlet valve (31) opened, so that a mass of gas, determined by the weight measurement cell (2), is dispensed via the outlet line (30) to the element to be exposed to gas and connected to the outlet line (30). When the weight loss of the tank matches the weight loss predefined in the programmable elements (3, 4), the outlet valve (31) is closed. <IMAGE> |
