PURPOSE:To improve Western noodles having poor nutrient component to a nutrient food and to obtain the subject macaroni or spaghetti having high medicinal effect by adding a specific amount of mugwort to durum wheat flour, adding warm water and forming the obtained dough into the form of dried Western noodles. CONSTITUTION:The objective macaroni or spaghetti is prepared by mixing (A) 100g of durum wheat flour with (B) about 5g of mugwort powder, adding (C) warm water of 35-40 deg.C to the mixture to attain a water-content of 30-33%, stirring and kneading while keeping at 40 deg.C and forming the dough into the shape of noodles by conventional process. A health fool having high nutrient value especially effective to allergic diseases can be prepared by this process. |
