PURPOSE:To stop as quick as possible a head carriage in its vibration itself by switching supply voltage to a stepping motor driving circuit through a volt age selector circuit actuated by a timer. CONSTITUTION:An actuated timer 11 synchronizing with a step signal input from the outside, is provided setting its time interval almost to the time a head carriage 1 moves by one step, and supply voltage to a stepping motor driving circuit 7 is switched through a voltage selection circuit 12 actuated by a time 11. Thus by dropping driving voltage of a stepping motor 4, its gener ating torque is decreased causing amplitude to be decreased of a vibration of the head carriage 1 and its vibration itself to be stopped as quick as possible. |
