PURPOSE:To use one kind of pattern data for both CRT display and printing by connecting a register for converting dot pattern data horizontally and vertically. CONSTITUTION:When dot pattern data sent from a central device 1 to a terminal 2 is sent in an order suitable for printing in a printing part 13, said data are successively stored in a printer character generating part 9 through a terminal controlling part 3 at first and then stored successively in a shift register 4. The shift register 4 converts the stored dot pattern data horizontally and vertically and stores said data in a CRT character generating part 8 in an order suitable for CRT display. These data in the character generating parts 8, 9 are displayed on a CRT 12 and printed out on a printing part 13 through a CRT controlling part 10 and printing controlling part 11 respectively. |
