PURPOSE:To prevent lowering of the life and variations of a laminated low edge V-belt by forming the canvas outer end edge of the bottom canvas layer of the belt like a wavy pattern to disperse stress applied to the outer end edge of the V-belt. CONSTITUTION:A bottom rubber layer 3 in which short fiber is uniformly dispersed in rubber is formed on a bottom canvas layer 2 where rubber-coated canvas is wound and laminated, and further a tensile substance layer 4 is formed on the rubber layer. A back canvas layer 5 where rubber-coated canvas is wound and laminated is disposed on the uppermost layer to form a laminated low edge V-belt 1. In winding a bottom canvas, the leading edge 8a of the canvas is a wavy pattern such as a triangular wave, a sine wave, a random wave, or the like. Further, the trailing edge of the back canvas layer 5 may be wavelike. |
