PURPOSE:To simply diffuse a medium thinly and uniformly by closely bringing a close contact part into contact with the main body of a probe by forming a medium sump part from the acute angle surface of the main body of the probe, the obtuse angle surface in the connection part of a converting body and a part of the close contact part of the converting body. CONSTITUTION:Medium sump parts 13a, 13b are formed from the acute angle surface 1b of a probe main body 1a, the obtuse angle surface 12d in the connection part 12b of a lens attachment 12 and a part of the close contact part 12a of the lens attachment 12 and the close contact part 12a is perfectly brought to the close contact state with the probe main body 1a. Therefore, a jelly like medium 15 is accumulated in the medium sump parts 13a, 13b and can be simply diffused thinly and uniformly and does not protrude to the outside from the close contact part 12a. Further, the curvature of the outer surface of the first acoustic lens 5b of the probe main body 1a is larger than that of the inner surface of the second acoustic lens 6b of the lens attachment 12. Therefore, the first and second acoustic lenses 5b, 6b are brought to a contact state and the probe main body 1a and the lens attachment 12 are brought to a contact state while the medium 15 is smoothly guided to the medium sump parts 13a, 13b and, therefore, the medium 15 can be diffused thinly and uniformly. |
