PURPOSE: To form a holding device operating surely by providing a brake for the movement of plural segments moving in the radius direction provided inside a roll shape core tube consisting of a synthetic resin, metal and cloth. CONSTITUTION: A non-circular molding member 11 is connected to a drive shaft 2 supported in a casing 1 through a flange 6. Three segments 7 are provided movably in the radius direction inside a core tube 13 consisting of a synthetic resin, metal, cloth and their legs are guided by a guide member 8. The member 8 is fixed to a ring shape disc 10 mounted on a flange 6 by a screw 9. The disc 10 is connected to a disc 15 by a screw 14 and a ring 16 rotating integrally with the shaft 2 is provided in the recessed part of the disc 15. A lining 20 is provided between the ring 16 and disc 15 and a coupling 21 and a push-press plate 22 pushed by a spring 24 are interposed between the ring 16 and disc 10 and a brake mechanism is constituted. Thus, the holding/ release of the core are performed surely by turning the shaft 2 in the normal/ reverse directions. |
