Chemical resistant concrete prodn - using binder rich in silicic acid

A method for making chemically stable concrete using a binder rich in silicic acid composed of a mixture of (a) 20-60 wt% granular alkali silicate with solid silicic acid range >6 and grain size 0.1-1.25 mm (b) 80-40 wt% quartz sand ground to specific surface >=1000 cm2/g together with additional sand of grain size range 1.15-2.25 in quantity 0.9-1.5 pts wt : 1 binder and water to a level 0.1-0.15 pts wt : 1 solid.
