DERIVATIVES OF PLATINUM (II) WITH POLYMETHYLSILOXANE, METHOD FOR PREPARING SAME AND ANTITUMOR AGENT BASED THEREON A b s t r a c t Derivatives of platinum (II) with pollymethylsiloxane comprising xerogels _ a product of interaction of a complex compound of platinum (II) in an aqueous solution of sodium chloride with a hydrogel of polymethylsiloxane at a molar ratio of Pt:Si:NaCl of 1-3:50:23-69 constituting a three -dimensionally cross-linked polymer of a globular structure with a globule diameter of 4.0-7.0 nm and a specific surface area of 80-200 m2/g having a unit of the general formula: -{¢PtCl(NH3)200 5!n (NaCl)5n(CH3SiO1.5)50(Na2O)10(H2O)20}wherein n - 1 to 3. A method for preparing said compounds comprising reacting a complex compound of platinum (II) in an aqueous solution of sodium chloride with a hydrogel of polymethylsiloxane at a molar ratio of Pt:Si:NaCl = 1-3:50:23-69, followed by isolation of the desired product. The compounds of the invention exhibit an antitumor activity. The antitumor agent according to the present inven_ tion consists of an active principle - the compound of the present invention having a unit of the formula: -{¢PtCl(NH3)2O0,5!2(NaCl)10(CH3SiO1.5)50(Na2O)10(H2O)20}-.
