PURPOSE:To enable the obtaining of a correct quality evaluation value of coffee beans by measuring absorbance of coffee beans as object by a near infrared spectrochemical analysis in a short time. CONSTITUTION:A near infrared spectrochemical analyzer 3 has a light source 31, a reflector 32, a narrow band pass filter 33, an integrating sphere 34 and detectors 35a and 35b. Then, light emitted from the light source 31 turns to near infrared rays with a specified wavelength passing through a filter 33 and then, is changed in direction with the reflector 32 to a light admitting window 36 provided with an upper part of the integrating sphere 34 being opened. The near infrared rays reflected 32 and entering into the integrating sphere 34 through the light admitting window 36 thereof 34 and made to irradiate coffee beans 55 within a sample container 52 placed at a specified position behind a measuring section 37, that is, a sample container mounting box 5 from right above. Then, a diffusion reflected light from the coffee beans 55 reaches the detectors 35a and 35b finally as arranged at a symmetrical position countered on the measuring section 37 being reflected into the integrating sphere 34 thereby enabling measurement of intensity of the reflected light. |
