The stand has inherently known devices to permit the screwing-on of a camera (2) and alignment of the latter. It can be mounted by means of two clamping plates (10) on the upper edge of a lowered window pane (1). This makes it possible to take photographs from the driver's seat or, when the door is open, from a position alongside the vehicle.
