PURPOSE:To remarkably improve cleaning efficiency by providing a control device equipped with a rod for an offset press, whereby a cleaning unit is automatically cleaned while it is detached from an impression cylinder at a recessed part as said impression cylinder is being rotated. CONSTITUTION:When a roller (engaging means) 7 provided at the front end of a rod 6 of a control device is brought into contact with or separated from a recessed part 53a of an impression cylinder 53 at the cleaning time of the impression cylinder 53, an air valve 5 is opened and closed by this rod 6 thereby switching the supply of the air to an air cylinder 3. Accordingly, a cleaning unit 1 is detached from an outer peripheral surface of the impression cylinder 53 immediately before it butts against the recessed part 53a. Therefore, the cleaning unit 1 is prevented from butting against a hook 58 provided in the recessed part 53a. The cleaning unit 1 is pressed into contact with the outer peripheral surface of the impression cylinder 53 except the recessed part 53a. In this state, the impression cylinder 53 is rotated and automatically cleaned. |
