A device 1 which comprises three workstations 2, 10, 25 is used to empty used round cells. A splitting tool 3 which can be moved in an axial plane of the round cell casing 5 is provided, to split this casing, in the first workstation 2. To do this, an opening tool 11 is inserted into the gap. In the second workstation 10, this spreads the two halves of the split round cells 5 apart from one another, and their contents are emptied into a first collecting apparatus 20. In the third workstation 25, an ejection tool 26 is used to eject the emptied round cell casing 5 into a second collecting apparatus 27. At least one retaining part 19 of the holder 6 for the round cells 5, the opening tool 11 and the ejection tool 26 are arranged on a transport element 30 which passes through the workstations 2, 10, 25, in particular a rotating revolver head 29. <IMAGE> |
