PURPOSE:To enhance abrasion resistance and sensitivity and to reduce residual potential by coating a photosensitive layer with a specified silicone resin coating material and hardening it to form a protective layer. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive layer is coated with the silicone resin coating material containing 1-5wt.% organic and/or inorganic acid, preferably, such as acetic acid, formic acid, hydrochloric acid, benzoic acid, oxalic acid, citric acid, glycolic acid, maleic acid, malonic acid, or chloroacetic acid, for adjusting pH, preferably, to 5.0-6.5, by the usual coating method, such as spray coating. After the coating, the coating film is dried and hardened to form the protective layer, thus permitting sensitivity to be improved, residual potential to be reduced, and abrasion resistance to be enhanced. |
