PURPOSE: A pattern recognition pen, content view optical communication system, and operating method thereof are provided to display content through a display unit connected with the set-top box by receiving the content from a content providing server. CONSTITUTION: A pattern code recognition pen(100) senses a pattern code. An STB(Set Top Box)(300) transmits a content call signal matched with the sensed pattern code to a high-speed optical network(400). The STB displays the content on a display unit(600). A content providing server(500) receives the content call signal from the high-speed optical network. The content providing server transmits the selected content to the high-speed optical communication network. |
