PURPOSE:To certainly and promptly perform boring in a narrow section of a work by providing a machine frame to be placed on the work with a mechanical boring system equipped with a drill and the like. CONSTITUTION:In laterally boring a small hole in the side wall of a bank part (c) of a narrow section of a work (b), a base board 1 is placed on the work (b) and a lower part 4b of a machine frame 4 is suspended down in a narrow groove (a). Through driving a motor 5, a boring drill 7 united in one body with a driver gear 6b is rotated. On the other hand, a handle 9 integrated with a feed shaft 10 is slowly rotated to transfer a feed frame 18 in the horizontal direction, and reaction force in the A direction is produced to a side wall of the bank part (c) of the work (b), then a small hole (d) is bored by the drill 7. |
