PURPOSE:To prevent the sudden change of density when the modulation of density is applied to the picture data by using a means which applies a filtering process to the 1st picture data and applies the modulation to the 2nd picture data via the output of the 1st picture data. CONSTITUTION:A CCD 100 is prepared to input the 1st picture data together with a RAM 13 which stores the 1st picture data, and a picture module 114 which applies a filtering process to the 1st picture data and applies the modulation to the 2nd picture data via the output of the 1st picture data. In such a constitution, it is possible to reduce the discontinuousness on joint surface between the horizontal and vertical pictures and to improve a consecutive picture process by applying a filtering process to a position near an external frame part of a texture processing patterns picture especially in such a case where a memory part storing a pattern picture has a finite size and is continuously used. Thus it is possible to prevent the sudden change of the density when the modulation of density is applied to the picture data. |
