<p>PURPOSE:To permit the surmounting of a steel tower by a method wherein pulleys are supported at one end of arms supported pivotably by gate type frames and tires are supported at the other end of the arms while the arms are turned. CONSTITUTION:Gate type frames 21a, 21b are supported pivotably in horizontal direction to the frame 20 of a self-propelled machine through supporting pins 22 while arm shafts 24 are supported pivotably to the lower ends of both sides extended below the gate type frames 21a, 21b and arms 25a, 25b are attached to the arm shafts 24. Pulleys 30a, 30b, running on an aerial cable 3, are supported to one ends of respective arms while tires 34a, 34b, running on the shoulders 4 of a steel tower 1, are provided on the other ends of the arms. When the self-propelled machine is approached to the steel tower 1, the arms 25a, 25b are pivoted sequentially in accordance with a sequence to lift the frame 20 up by mounting the tires 34a, 34b on the shoulders 4 of the steel tower and surmount an obstacle 5.</p> |
