PURPOSE:To prevent a ball screw and a motor from overloading and to extend the life of a clamping device by providing a cylinder containing viscous material therein between a mold opening/closing mechanism and a movable platen. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder 7 is mounted at a movably platen 5, a grease inlet 8 is provided at the cylinder 7 at the side of the platen 5, and flame retardant grease 10 such as water-glycol is sealed therefrom. When resin is injected from an injection cylinder 14, the platen 5 tends to press a ball screw 11 from a mold clamp completing position to a mold clamping support 2 by the pressure of the resin in a product section; 15. In this case, excess load generated only before or after the completion of the injection is not applied to the screw 11 and a motor 12 by the suitably cushion operation of the small amount of the grease 10 in the cylinder 7. |
