摘要 PURPOSE: To prevent the friction value from being increased even when the working differential pressure and the working time are increased by providing a seal edge part so as to form a starting point relative to a conical surface to be opened to a high pressure end side, and arranging a stressgiving ring on the high-pressure side end of a seal ring. CONSTITUTION: A seal ring 5 is abutted on a rod 1 at an edge part 53 provided on an inner side surface relative to the rod 1 with a constant pressure, the edge part 53 is formed of conical surfaces 54, 55, the conical surface 54 is extended from the edge part 53 to a flat surface 51, and forms a wedge angle αof 10 deg. on the surface of the rod 1. The conical surface 55 is extended in the direction opposite thereto, and a surface 7 passing the edge part 53 forms an angle β of 35 deg. between the surface and a second side surface. A stress giving ring 6 is arranged in an annular space formed of a conical surface 56, a bottom surface of a groove 42 and a second side surface. The ring 6 is deformed and pre-stressed, and engaged with the conical surface 56 by the pre-stress K, and the axial component KA presses the ring 5 against an adjacent side surface 41 of the groove 4 irrespective of the fluid pressure, while the radial component KR presses the ring 5 against an outer circumference of the rod 1.
